As we near the end of Women’s History Month, it’s a time for reflection. We’re not just celebrating women this month; we’re amplifying and elevating the voices of the women who lead by example in our organization daily. It’s a celebration, yes, but it’s also a direct investment in the future. Our women in leadership are paving the way not just for themselves, but for all those who look up to them.
We’re not just honoring the trailblazers; we’re eager to share their stories, acknowledge their impact, and pass on their wisdom to the next generation of female talent. To celebrate, we’re spotlighting some of the outstanding women who are leading the way, sharing invaluable insights they’ve gathered through their journeys. While these are just a few of our women leaders, we are fortunate to have many more. Join us in recognizing these impactful leaders who are shaping the future.
Dawn Meyers
CEO
I am Dawn Meyers, serving as the CEO of Malone since 2021. My primary goal is to expand Malone’s influence and establish us as a prominent figure in talent acquisition strategies. Before stepping into the CEO role, I honed my skills as COO, Vice President of Operations, and Director of Operations in Malone’s Commercial Staffing Division.
Career Journey
At its core, staffing is about people. You don’t choose staffing for your career if you don’t love people. I want my legacy to revolve around empowering and uplifting people, challenging them to become more than they thought they were capable of, both professionally and personally, and then to pass that along to the people they encounter at work, at home, in their churches and in their community.
At Malone, I hope my legacy is an incredibly talented staff that is committed to serving people. Our clients, our candidates and employees, and our communities at large. We are in unique positions to be able to change lives, I hope we never forget that.
Advice for Aspiring Female Professionals
Be bold, be fearless, and let your actions speak louder than your doubts. If there’s something you want, go after it and stand up for yourself. Waiting on others to do it for you won’t lead to results. If you notice something that needs to be done, take the initiative and act on it, even if it involves taking risks. Remember, it’s important to take up space. Don’t shrink yourself; instead, expand and make your presence and voice known. Embrace the discomfort of stepping outside your comfort zone; that’s where growth happens.
Elizabeth Latham
Director of Virtual Recruitment
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Latham – Director of Virtual Recruitment. I have been with Malone for almost 7 years. I am responsible for leading the operational fulfillment, strategic direction, and growth of our Virtual Division, including the Professional Search Team, Virtual Recruitment Team, and RPO Vertical (which essentially means my teams assist customers beyond a 30-mile radius of a branch location). I also have direct oversight to the Internal Recruitment Team and VMS Support Team.
Career Journey
Less than 7 years ago, I took a giant leap of faith and switched careers. It meant leaving behind a company where I had worked for 15 years to start completely over. After multiple conversations with Tori Malone, Regional Vice President, about Malone—I had a feeling in my gut this was where I needed to be! Looking back, I remember how scary this decision was, but it’s been the best career move I’ve ever made. Landing in the staffing world was unexpected, but now I have a career I’m passionate about, finding meaning and purpose in my daily work.
What has propelled my current success? Hard work and relationships. In my honest opinion, there is no substitute for hard work. We have so many talented peers that I am honored to work beside daily. Not a single day goes by that I do not connect with one of my peers for advice, guidance, or to talk through situations.
Advice for Aspiring Female Professionals
Your circle matters. Our social circles play such an influence on our personal development. It is so important to surround yourself with people who push you, challenge you, make you laugh, make you better, and help you grow. As a leader, hiring your team is the most important decision you make. Hire people to work on your team that are so good, it’s scary. Hire people smarter than you, and people that compliment your weaknesses. One of the best things you can do to accelerate your career growth is to get a mentor. Mentors help you stay motivated and focused. I have been fortunate to have so many inspiring mentors and leaders that have played such an important role in my career development.
Glenda Armes
Director of HR
I’m Glenda Armes, Director of HR here at Malone. Deciding to stay in the US after college and start a family away from my native Ecuador, definitely shaped me. It has made me more comfortable with risk, value the time I spend with family when I visit Ecuador, and has pushed me to pave my own career path, especially since I had a limited network when I finished college and moved to Kentucky from Miami, FL.
Career Journey
I knew I wanted to study HR before college. I have always been interested in finding out ways to enable the business through people.
I have been propelled by my family’s support, here (husband, kids and in-laws) and in Ecuador (parents, grandparents and brother). I have also been propelled by incredible mentors, leaders and friends throughout my career, who have poured into me and allowed me to consistently ask questions, allowed me to try and make mistakes, and have given me grace throughout the learning process.
Advice for Aspiring Female Professionals
I encourage women to claim their space and create it, if needed. Network, network, network. You never know from where your next opportunity will come. Lastly, pay it forward through mentorship and community involvement.

Tamisha Boleware
Corporate Recruiting Partner
Hi, I’m Tamisha Boleware, Corporate Recruiting Partner at Malone Workforce Solutions. In this role, I oversee internal recruitment across all divisions, focusing on attracting top talent, understanding hiring managers’ needs, and providing hiring best practices. I also network to build lasting relationships, add to our talent pipeline, and support candidates throughout the hiring process.
Career Journey
Becoming a mom led me to talent acquisition. With a background in public relations and years in sales/management/customer service, I thrived on the fast pace, rewards, and daily challenges of helping people. After my daughter’s birth, I shifted to HR Coordinator for more time with her. However, I soon grew bored and needed more than a cubicle job. Seeking diverse projects, from talent development to recruitment, led me to recruiting for over 7 years.
A strong support team, God, integrity, work ethic, and going the extra mile have driven my success.
Advice for Aspiring Female Professionals
Regardless of the obstacles you face, always radiate the energy you wish to receive from others.
Amy McStoots
Regional Area Director
On this Women’s History Month, I reflect on my journey as a Regional Area Director for Malone Workforce Solutions — a path shaped by pivotal moments and a deep-seated drive for success. This drive comes from watching my parents work hard in blue collar roles, to ensure a better future for their children. Deep down a part of me always wants to show them that their sacrifices were worth it.
Career Journey
My journey began with a profound realization of the power of connection. Early in my career, I witnessed how the right opportunity, paired with mentorship and support, could transform lives. This insight ignited my passion for helping others find their path and reach their full potential.
The decision to pursue this career path was motivated by a desire to make a meaningful impact—to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. Every day, I am driven by the belief that by connecting the right people, we can create positive change and drive success for individuals and organizations alike.
Advice for Aspiring Female Professionals
Embrace your unique journey and the lessons it brings. Each challenge, setback, and triumph is an opportunity to grow, learn, and inspire others. Together, we can break barriers, shatter glass ceilings, and create a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive.
Courtney Nappo
Director of Marketing
Hi, I’m Courtney Nappo, Director of Marketing at Malone. I joined the Malone team in July of 2023 after a diverse career in healthcare marketing, marketing agency, and non-profit work. I’m fueled by a passion for digital growth, crafting the best user experience, and showcasing our brand through storytelling. I love people, and it’s such a joy to be a part of such a people-centric company.
Career Journey
I spent much of my early career journey in the nonprofit sector. This shaped how I see work and fueled my drive for helping people, working from passion, and telling great stories. I made the move into marketing gradually, first starting my own contract marketing services in the food and beverage industry, and then diving in full-time at a digital and inbound marketing agency. This really gave me a wide range of experience and expanded my skills and knowledge. I stepped into healthcare marketing full-time in 2020, jumping right in during the throws of the pandemic. I really feel that I came full circle in my career when I made the move to Malone in July of 2023. Malone’s commitment and mission for helping others succeed in their careers and lives, aligned so well with my past experience in nonprofit work and my passion for helping others. Getting to be on the marketing end of that is an absolute joy! I’m proud to be on the Malone team and look forward to what we will accomplish together.

In moments of frustration and long days, reconnect with your ‘why’ – the reason behind what you do. In everything, remember there is no substitute for hard work. Put the time in and give it your all.
