Position: Paint Booth Cleaning Team Member
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Shift: Saturday & Sunday Only 6pm – 6am
Pay Rate: $16.00
Job Description
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Team Members to perform industrial cleaning and maintenance tasks within a paint booth environment. This position involves maintaining clean and safe paint booth areas, equipment, and production spaces while following all safety procedures and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Clean paint booth walls, windows, floors, and surrounding areas.
- Mop floors and remove paint sludge and debris.
- Cut and replace plastic coverings and robot covers.
- Clean conveyors, rollers, rails, and other production equipment.
- Replace filters and clean ovens, tanks, purge pots, and air showers.
- Clean sludge from flood sheets and underneath paint booths.
- Replace foil and maintain cleanliness throughout the work area.
- Participate in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures as required.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform additional cleaning duties as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to climb stairs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Manual dexterity to handle cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in an industrial production environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to make sound decisions when addressing safety or production concerns.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Must follow all PPE and safety requirements.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physically demanding cleaning duties in an industrial environment. Previous industrial, manufacturing, janitorial, or cleaning experience is a plus.
