We are currently hiring Picker/Packer for a growing warehouse operation in Mokena, IL. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on warehouse work, we want to hear from you!

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Hire-In Opportunity:

Increase to up to $21/hour upon permanent hire
Rate determined by performance and work quality

Schedule:

Monday-Friday
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Mandatory overtime every other Saturday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

As a Picker/Packer, you will:

Pick and pack parts of various sizes, ranging from very small hardware pieces to larger items requiring a pallet and manual pallet jack
Read and follow paper picking tickets (no RF scanners used)
Identify correct picking zones, item numbers, descriptions, and quantities
Accurately count and package items in bags
Label bags with order numbers and quantities using a marker
Transport orders throughout the warehouse using a shopping cart or pallet jack.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Accuracy is more important than speed.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail
Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Ability to walk throughout the warehouse during the workday
Steel toe safety shoes required (composite acceptable)
Safety glasses required (provided)

Break Schedule

10:00 AM – 10:15 AM (Paid Break)
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM (Unpaid Lunch – Employees may leave the facility)
2:15 PM – 2:30 PM (Paid Break)
