- Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
- Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM
- Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Friday-Sunday, 5:30 PM-5:00 AM
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable, safety-focused Yard Drivers/Yard Spotters to safely move and stage semi-trailers throughout a busy facility. This position supports warehouse operations by keeping trailers organized and positioned where they are needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a yard tractor, yard mule, or spotter truck to move trailers.
- Position trailers at loading docks, staging, storage, and maintenance areas.
- Perform equipment and trailer inspections and report damage or mechanical issues.
- Communicate with warehouse, dock, and dispatch teams to coordinate trailer movements.
- Refuel equipment and maintain basic equipment records.
- Follow all company, OSHA, and site-specific safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, with clean 7-year MVR.
- Previous yard/spotter experience preferred.
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to climb in and out of a truck, walk the yard, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
