Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Material Handler & General Maintenance team member to support daily warehouse, material handling, and facility maintenance operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and taking pride in keeping materials, equipment, and the facility organized and running smoothly.
Material Handler/General Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move and organize materials.
- Pick up and stage orders for production and customer needs.
- Receive, organize, and maintain inventory of sheet materials, tubing, angle, and other raw materials.
- Build and assemble crates for material and product handling.
- Assist with shelving and racking assembly and installation.
- Perform basic facility and equipment maintenance, including filter cleaning and general upkeep.
- Assist with building painting and floor sweeping/cleaning.
- Complete routine vehicle inspections and checklists.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse and facility tasks as needed.
Material Handler/General Maintenance Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience with demonstrated ability to operate safely and efficiently.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Valid California Driver’s License (CADL).
- Clean driving record.
- Comfortable performing hands-on maintenance and warehouse tasks.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an active environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3 pm
Payrate:
- $25-30/hr. DOE
