Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Custom Fabricator to assemble and fabricate products according to blueprints, measurements, assembly instructions, and customer specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
Custom Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, measurements, and parts lists.
- Gather required parts, tools, materials, and subassemblies for each project.
- Position and assemble components using templates, measurements, and specified guidelines.
- Examine connections and completed assemblies to ensure proper fit and quality.
- Measure and test finished products to verify they meet specifications.
- Package completed products securely for shipment to clients.
- Accurately document project information using SharePoint, Toggl, and Excel.
- Maintain and organize required hard-copy forms and records.
- Perform basic math, including decimal calculations and measurements.
- Record inventory adjustments promptly and accurately in NetSuite.
- Communicate with management when dimensions, measurements, or initial builds do not meet specifications.
- Assist with troubleshooting and obtain additional resources when needed.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and follow manufacturer instructions for equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Replenish supplies, empty trash, and assist with maintaining warehouse, MPR, and other assigned areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
Custom Fabricator Requirements:
- Previous fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, measurements, and technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable performing basic and decimal math.
- Basic computer skills; experience with Excel, SharePoint, Toggl, or NetSuite is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools and production equipment safely.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday – 7 am – 3:30 pm
Payrate:
- $ 20 -22/hr DOE
