We are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Childcare Center Director to oversee the daily operations of our childcare center. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing a commercial childcare facility, developing staff, and ensuring high-quality care in a safe, nurturing environment.
Schedule
- Tuesday/Thursday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Every other Saturday: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director in a commercial childcare setting.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience using Brightwheel childcare management software.
- Must have reliable transportation and a dependable attendance record.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the childcare center.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and company policies.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise employees.
- Maintain staffing schedules and support employee development.
- Manage enrollment, family communication, and customer service.
- Oversee the center's social media presence and assist with marketing and advertising efforts.
- Coordinate with vendors and maintain relationships with service providers.
- Monitor budgets, inventory, supplies, and operational expenses.
- Foster a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children, families, and staff.
- Address parent concerns professionally and build strong family relationships.
- Maintain accurate records using Brightwheel childcare management software.
Preferred Qualifications
Food Safety and Sanitation Certification through the Jefferson County Department of Health & Wellness is a plus. Candidates who are not currently certified must be willing to obtain certification upon hire.
