Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs to ensure our facilities, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Complete general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify repair and safety needs.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or construction experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Ability to diagnose and repair common maintenance issues.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, climbing ladders, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
