Job Title: 1st Shift Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator
Location: Louisville, KY (Riverport area)
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30pm-11pm
Position Summary
Malone Workforce Solutions is now hiring a 1st Shift Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator for an immediate opportunity in the Riverport area of Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently operating reach truck and/or cherry picker equipment to support day-to-day warehouse operations, including order picking, loading, unloading, and moving inventory throughout the facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate reach truck and/or cherry picker equipment safely and efficiently, including at elevated heights.
- Pick, stage, and stack inventory in designated locations, including upper-level rack storage.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, pallets, and products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker required.
- Ability to work the scheduled 1st shift hours.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including at elevated heights, for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting up to 30-50 pounds.
- Constant standing, bending, reaching, and climbing on and off equipment.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
