Environmental Services Technician (EVS)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by performing routine cleaning, sanitizing, and replenishment of supplies throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily environmental services, including cleaning and sanitizing offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Utilize orbital buffer equipment to clean and maintain hard floor surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas following established procedures.
- Replenish paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other facility supplies.
- Properly handle and dispose of waste.
- Follow safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous environmental services, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred.
- Experience operating an orbital buffer or similar floor care equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and customer service.
