Malone Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Paratransit Eligibility Assistant. This part-time administrative position plays a key role in the ADA paratransit eligibility process by assisting with application management, scheduling assessments, maintaining confidential records, and providing excellent customer service to applicants and riders.
Paratransit Eligibility Assistant Benefits:
Compensation: $18.00/hour
Position Type: Temporary position
Schedule: 20 – 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday during regular business hours
Location: Lexington, KY

Paratransit Eligibility Assistant Duties:
* Ensure timely and accurate receipt, review, and recording of ADA paratransit eligibility applications and determinations
* Schedule in-person, telephone, and paper-based paratransit eligibility assessments
* Respond to applicant and rider inquiries regarding application status, eligibility determinations, program policies, and procedures
* Prepare and maintain written customer communications, including eligibility determination and recertification letters
* Provide applicants with educational materials, including the appeals process, alternative transportation options, and rider program information
* Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records of applications, assessments, determinations, and correspondence in compliance with HIPAA regulations
* Coordinate with paratransit scheduling and dispatch staff to ensure timely activation of eligible riders
* Assist the Paratransit Coordinator and Compliance Manager with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned
Paratransit Eligibility Assistant Skill & Education Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Previous administrative, customer service, or clerical experience preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and varying abilities
* Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with eligibility or case management software is a plus
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
* Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
* Reliable attendance and professional demeanor required
