Position Summary
Malone Workforce Solutions is now hiring experienced Forklift Operators for immediate opportunities in Shepherdsville, KY and Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently operating warehouse material handling equipment to support day-to-day operations, including loading, unloading, and moving inventory throughout the facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate reach truck and stand-up forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, pallets, and products throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately pick, stage, and stack inventory in designated locations.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck required.
- Previous experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift required.
- Ability to work the assigned shift, including the every-other-Saturday requirement for Options 1 and 2.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting up to 30-50 pounds.
- Constant standing, bending, reaching, and climbing on and off equipment.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
