Mill Operators

Core Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor milling machines (including CNC horizontal, vertical, and bar feed lathes) to cut, drill, bore, grind, and shape metal and other solid materials.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure parts meet exact tolerancances.
• Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to verify they meet quality and dimensional standards.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance, clean machines, replace worn tools or parts, and follow strict safety protocols to protect equipment and personnel.
• Data Recording: Log materials used, machine settings, and production output for quality tracking and reporting.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate with supervisors and team members about machine performance, maintenance needs, and any issues encountered.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating milling machines, preferably CNC.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Understanding basic machining processes and safety procedures.
• Willingness to follow safety standards and work in a fast?paced manufacturing environment.
