Extraction Technician
Are you looking for an exciting new career in a growing field? Malone Workforce Solutions is looking for an Extraction Technician for a food processing company here in Jeffersonville, IN! This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Pay: $18/hr. (Weekly Pay!)
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday – Friday)
What You'll Do
- Assist in all aspects of the extraction process.
- Assist in the operation of processing equipment.
- Identify and report equipment failure.
- Maintain an organized and clean production environment and workspace.
- Follow Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) to produce high-quality natural botanical ingredients.
- Understand and follow all safety protocols.
- Monitor process equipment operations.
- Collect In-Process samples, as required.
- Record data for all manufacturing processes.
- Follow inventory control standards.
- Store supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to company and safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of relevant experience in food, production, or sanitation
- Basic understanding of food safety, reading and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Must be able to lift overhead and reaching up to 30 lbs and being able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
