Pay: $28-$32/hour depending on experience level
Minova’s new facility in Tooele, Utah, is seeking a dependable, safety- and team-oriented Shift Lead to join our team. In this role, the Shift Lead will ensure production occurs on a timely basis, following all safety procedure, taking a pro-active teamwork approach, and focusing on coordinating assigned product handling and production functions.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure production occurs on a timely basis.
- Lead by example and coach team members to maintain a safe, compliant, and incident-free workplace.
- Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to team members to drive engagement and performance.
- Monitor attendance.
- Identify skill gaps and training needs; support employee development and succession planning.
- Build trust and promote a high-performing team environment.
- Gain team commitment to goals and ensure accountability for results.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of commitment to Safety, Health, Environment & Security standards.
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand equipment and basic troubleshooting.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members and leadership.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, planning and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of company policies, procedures, and employee relations practices.
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed, to support operations.
