Material Handler – 1st Shift
Location: Waukesha, WI
Pay: $18/hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves handling tires and automotive parts using industrial equipment such as forklifts and picker equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts efficiently
- Operate industrial equipment including forklifts and picker equipment
- Use scanners to locate, track, and store inventory
- Assist with inventory control and organization
- Lift 50 lbs consistently and up to 80 lbs occasionally (team lift or equipment-assisted when required)
- Push up to 40 lbs when handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Work at heights up to 25 feet while safely operating equipment
- Remain on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist other departments (e-commerce, inventory, will call) as needed
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working at heights
- Bilingual (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
