Malone is hiring for Production Operators on all shifts at one of the leading manufacturers in the Georgetown, TX area! To apply you must have some manufacturing experience. Shift Details:
- 1st shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM paying $18.50 per hour
- 2nd shift is 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM paying $20.35 per hour
- 3rd shift is 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM paying $21.27 per hour
Production Operator Responsibilities:
- Read work orders, set up, run and reset specified manufacturing equipment consistent with customer requirements, established production and quality standards, notify lead/supervisor of equipment failure or problems; seek to improve efficiency and make process change recommendations to Supervisors.
- Prepare product throughout the production process using safety knives, scissors, & tweezers.
- Locate, stock, build, & manage WIP from the production line in terms of storage & inventory control; load and unload material onto or from production fixed equipment to carriers & mobile racks; deliver WIP safely & efficiently throughout the production line & prepare shipments for delivery.
- Operate safety sensitive and heavy equipment such as electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, & fixed equipment.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have at least 6 months of manufactuering/production floor expeirnece.
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and a background check
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
