Malone is hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic – Night Shift
Note: This position is not responsible for general building or grounds maintenance (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, painting). It is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise in industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform Repairs:
Execute emergency and routine repairs on a variety of equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Tasks may include repairing motors, chains, bearings, belts, and control circuits. -
Conduct Preventive Maintenance:
Schedule and perform regular maintenance activities such as inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance. -
Install & Assemble Equipment:
Install, assemble, and commission new or existing machinery. Modify or fabricate components as needed. -
Troubleshoot & Diagnose Issues:
Identify equipment malfunctions through observation and testing, and diagnose issues within complex systems to minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Experience

Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field—or equivalent experience/certification

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting capabilities

Experience with CMMS and/or SAP systems

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
