Warehouse Machine Operator – Batcher (Weekend Shift)
Location: Niles, IL
Pay Rate: $23.55/hr. ($22.00 + $1.55 shift differential)
Shift: Weekend Shift: Fri-Sun | 5:00 AM – 6:30 PM
About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Batcher to support our food manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate product batches, maintains quality, and follows safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Operate mixers, scales, timers, and batching systems (SCADA)

Pre-scale, measure, and mix ingredients according to formulas

Complete batch records, inspections, and GMP documentation accurately

Monitor product quality, temperature, and consistency during batching

Assist in cleaning tanks and safely handling chemicals

Support other production areas when trained

Report equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance

Follow all safety, food quality, and plant procedures
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
-
Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience (food manufacturing preferred)

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)

Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment safely

Comfortable using computers and production/batching systems

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in varying temperatures

Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
