Now Hiring – Packaging Associate (1st Shift)
Location: Batavia, IL
Pay: $19.35 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM (some OT on Fridays)
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Job Overview:
We’re hiring a Packaging Associate to join our production team. This role involves inspecting and packaging products to meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Package products according to all specified requirements.
* Support Gluers as a packer/inspector.
* Place stacks of cards into the gluer feed table and catch glued products for packaging.
* Identify, sort, and label all nonconforming materials.
* Report any unidentified non-conformances immediately.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
* Follow all Safety and Operational procedures.
* Communicate and work positively with other departments.
* Contribute to a team-oriented, high-paced production environment.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
* Standing for over 8 hours
* Frequent reaching, stretching, and gripping motions.
* Pushing/pulling materials weighing between 5-45 lbs.
* Comfortable working in warm, noisy production environments.
