Now Hiring – General Labor / Food Packaging Workers (1st Shift)
Location: Romeville, IL
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Job Overview:
We’re looking for hardworking General Laborers to join a food production facility in Romeville, IL. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position in a warm-to-cool environment where attention to detail and reliability are key.
Responsibilities:

Assist with food packaging and preparation – placing liquid food into cups and containers.

Pick and pack finished food products into boxes.

Move materials between prep and walk-in cooler areas.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace; general cleaning duties required.

Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures (hairnets, gloves, etc.).
Requirements:

Previous food packaging or food production experience preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift.

Comfortable working in both warm and cool environments.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.

Only one 30-minute lunch break is provided (no additional breaks)
Additional Notes:
This is a manual labor position in a busy production setting. The workspace can be crowded at times, but safety and cleanliness are enforced.
