Maintenance Techs Needed
Malone Solutions is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for one of our clients in the Edinburgh area. The candidate needs to be familiar with pneumatics, schematics, hydraulics, etc. There machines run on 480V, they don’t have to know electrical, but if they have repaired machines in the past that run on 480, that would be a plus. The position will pay $22 to $24 DOE.
- 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
- Pay: $22-24 Hour (Depends on experience)
- Position is located in Edinburgh, Indiana at a major manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repair and maintain physical plant systems.
- Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.
- Set up and operate machine tools such as a lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
Education and Experience:
– High school diploma, trade or technical school certification, or equivalent.
