Job Title: Stockroom Associate (2nd Shift)
Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Department: Material Handling – Stockroom
Shift: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stockroom Associate I to join our Material Handling Stockroom team. In this cross-functional support role, you will ensure materials are accurately pulled and distributed for assembly operations, maintain precise inventory records, and contribute to overall production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull and pick manufacturing orders based on the production schedule
- Use counting scales to ensure accurate material transactions
- Adjust inventory quantities as necessary to reflect accurate stock levels
- Understand and perform MIA transactions
- Support manufacturing by supplying Kanban assembly materials
- Maintain tube backflush levels
- Replenish indirect materials such as O-rings and backup rings
- Fulfill engineering material requests
- Ensure materials are stored correctly in designated stockrooms
- Assist with part movement from receiving and secondary processing
- Participate in 7S activities as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to coordinate workflow with team members
- Experience using counting scales
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
- Forklift certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to push carts with heavy loads
