Maintenance Technician
Malone Solutions is recruiting for a first Shift Maintenance Technician for one of our clients in the Columbus area.
Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm
Pay Range Depends on Skill Level:
- $20 hour if they require training on electrical and line equipment repair
- $22 hour if they have contracting, roof repair, electrical and welding experience.
- $30 hour if they are overqualified but still interested in the position.
- Bilingual is a priority
- Welding a plus, Electrical is a plus
Required Qualifications:
- Mechanical and/or Electrical Aptitude
- Ability to weld, or willing to learn to weld, on food grade equipment
- Responsive to production needs
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and written/verbal communications skills
- Willing to work extended shifts as needed
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Forklift driving experience, or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of production machines and related equipment
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of welding/fabrication, hydraulics, building maintenance, electronics/electrical, boiler, HVAC, lockout/tag out, blueprint reading, preventative maintenance
- 2 Year Technical Degree or Mechanical Experience and Understanding
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Food Processing Facility preferred
