Job Title: Cutting Technician
Overview:
Join our team in Vista, CA as a Cutting Technician responsible for marking, reproducing, and assembling material kits. As a crucial member of the team, you will be trained on first shift for two weeks before transitioning to the 3rd shift. You will work with PatternSmith and the Gerber Machine to ensure precise cutting and assembly of materials. Your role will involve cloth laminating, sharpening tools, operating equipment, and maintaining quality standards to meet customer demand efficiently.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in PatternSmith and the Gerber Machine
- Experience in cloth laminating and bagging/consolidation
- Ability to operate cutting and grinding equipment
- Detail-oriented with precise trimming skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities and a strong work ethic
- Commitment to producing high-quality products with minimal material waste
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or cutting technician role
- Familiarity with quality control processes
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Pay & Shift Information:
- 3rd shift: 9:00PM-5:30AM
- Wage: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to train on the first shift for two weeks
- Ability to work the 3rd shift schedule: 9:00PM-5:30AM
- Participation in internal training sessions as required
