Assembly Technician
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Pay: $18 – $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
We are looking for a Small Parts Assembly Technician to join our team! This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience in precision assembly work. If you have a background in small parts soldering and assembly, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hand soldering and splicing of 26 to 30 AWG wire
- Work under a microscope or magnification to assemble small parts
- Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, and height gauges
- Follow IPC, J-STD, or NASA workmanship standards
- Read and interpret wiring schematics and assembly drawings
- Operate pneumatic and hand crimping tools
- Sit for extended periods while performing detailed assembly tasks
Qualifications:
- Experience in small parts assembly and soldering
- Ability to follow precise instructions and quality standards
- Comfortable working with delicate components under magnification
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
