Malone is hiring for Shift Supervisors in the Fountain Inn, SC area starting at $30.00/hr for a Light Industrial Automotive Assembly Work Environment!
Supervisor Highlights:
-Pay rate: $30.00/hr
-Shift:
-A Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm
-B shift 7:00pm-7:00am
-1st shift 7:00am-3:15pm
-2nd shift 3:00pm-11:15pm
-3rd shift 11:00pm-7:15am
-Temp-to-hire position
Supervisor Responsibilities:
-Ability to stand for full shift
-Ability to walk for long periods of time
-Ability to lift up to 40lbs
-Ability to read and write English
-Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work).
-Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members in daily start up meeting.
-Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed.
-Train and monitor employee performance to ensure operator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets.
-Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report. Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel.
-Ensure job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced
– Ensure compliance of the UAW contract, team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs and procedures that pertain to production team members.
-Monitor quality of product throughout the production process.
-Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives.
-Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.
Supervisor Requirements:
-Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
-Mandatory overtime required
-Must be High School Graduate or Equivalent
-Management Experience in Light Industrial Work Environment
-Must have 3-5 minimum years of experience with Production
-Must have 1-3 minimum years of experience within automotive industry
-Must be willing to travel and work at customer sites
-Must have excellent computer literacy, oral communication skills, and strong team building and people management skills.
-Must be willing to wear required PPE

-Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
-Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
Preferred Supervisor requirements:
-JIT (Just in Time) environment experience
-Proficient Organizational Skills
-Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
