Minova is seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our exciting new operations in Tooele, Utah! What You’ll Do:
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our daily warehouse operations. Here’s what you can expect:
- Daily Warehouse Operations:
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Unpack incoming products, inspect them for accuracy, and repack as needed.
- Transport materials to designated staging areas within the warehouse.
- Rearrange and maintain storage bays for efficient use of space and easy access.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
- Follow Minova’s safety and quality standards at all times.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct visual inspections of outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Address any packaging or labeling issues promptly to prevent delays or errors.
- Take photographs of all outgoing shipments and tags for record-keeping purposes.
What You Bring:
Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current Forklift license is a must.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing shipping documents and labels.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and uniforms.
