Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring long-term entry-level Machine Operators looking to grow with the company of a plastics credit card manufacturer in the town of Bolingbrook, IL. 3rd shifts available. Climate- controlled environment. Apply today to get started!
Machine Operator Highlights:
- Monday – Friday
- 3rd Shift 11:00PM-7:00AM
- Up to $21.00/hr. Depending on Experience
- Temp to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Set up the DICL 5000 Machine according to job specifications and production needs.
- Retrieve daily work files from workstations to facilitate the day’s production objectives.
- Load materials and ensure proper alignment and feeding into the machine
- Perform routine maintenance on machines such as cleaning, lubricating and making minor adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions or issues during production.
- Inspect the quality of produced materials rigorously to meet organizational standards.
- Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring tools and gauges such as micrometers
- Report on any operational concerns or challenges to the Operations Manager for the department.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment to promote operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Run daily production as trained and directed
- Conduct inspection on materials produced.
- Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check.
- 1+ year of experience working in a manufacturing plant or similar multi-tasking environment operating machinery.
- Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent; technical training preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, including machine manuals and job specifications
- Customer focused team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift to 40 pounds of material on an occasional basis
