Machine Operator Highlights:
- Monday – Friday
- 2nd shift 2:30PM- 11:00PM
- MUST TRAIN ON 1st SHIFT
- $17/hr. – Up to $18/hr.
- Temp to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, supply, and operate production machines dedicated to mailing services.
- Retrieve daily work files from workstations to facilitate the day’s production objectives.
- Coordinate material delivery to workstations, focusing on the appropriate allocation of resources to achieve shift targets.
- Monitor inventory levels for essential production materials such as envelopes, inserts, and blank paper, and notify the manager if stock levels are insufficient.
- Inspect the quality of produced materials rigorously to meet organizational standards.
- Report any operational concerns or challenges to the Operations Manager for the HAS department.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment to promote operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in delivering the correct materials to each workstation to meet production goals for the shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials required to complete jobs (envelopes, inserts, blank paper) and alert manager if stock is not adequate for the day’s production.
- Run daily production as trained and directed for highly mailing machines
- Conduct inspection on materials produced.
- Relay issues and concerns to Operations Manager for HAS department.
- Keep the work area organized and clean.
- Follow and comply with policies, procedures, processes and general company information.
- Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check.
- 1+ year of experience working in a manufacturing plant or similar multi- tasking environment.
- Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
- Customer focused team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift to 40 pounds of material on an occasional basis
