Malone is hiring for production operators at one of the leading manufacturers in the Georgetown, TX area. This position will be full time, and we have both 1st and 2nd shift available!
Production Operator Responsibilities:
- Read work orders, set up, run and reset specified manufacturing equipment consistent with customer requirements, established production and quality standards, notify lead/supervisor of equipment failure or problems; seek to improve efficiency and make process change recommendations to Supervisors.
- Prepare product throughout the production process using safety knives, scissors, & tweezers.
- Locate, stock, build, & manage WIP from the production line in terms of storage & inventory control; load and unload material onto or from production fixed equipment to carriers & mobile racks; deliver WIP safely & efficiently throughout the production line & prepare shipments for delivery.
- Operate safety sensitive and heavy equipment such as electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, & fixed equipment.
Production Operator Requirements:
- Previous production experience preferred.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Lift 25-30 pounds consistently, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Must submit to a drug screen and background check.
- 1st shift hours are 6:00AM – 2:30PM M-F. Pay is $18.50
- 2nd shift hours are 2:00PM – 10:30PM. Pay is $20.35
