Malone Solutions is now hiring Packagers, Production Operators, and Processing Associates for a respected food manufacturing client in Columbus, IN.

If you're dependable and show up every day ready to work, you can earn an additional $2.00 per hour just for perfect attendance!

Company Summary

Our client is a specialty manufacturer of powdered beverages and food products, including:

• Hot cocoa

• Sports nutrition products

• Toddler formula

• Protein powders

• Coffee and tea

This is a clean, indoor, temperature-controlled food manufacturing facility.

Available Positions

Packager

Packagers stand at their assigned machine and receive powdered product from Processing Associates.

Responsibilities:

• Fill containers with powder

• Count and package products

• Prepare products for shipping

• Maintain quality standards

Packaging Operator I

Responsibilities:

• Monitor product quality

• Test and clean machines

• Troubleshoot and solve minor mechanical issues

• Assist with packaging duties as needed

Processing Associate

Processing Associates support Packagers and Leads in meeting customer commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Collect powder ingredients from warehouse

• Follow detailed recipes

• Weigh and load bags into blenders

• Operate blending equipment per instructions

• Maintain a safe work environment

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly

• Work in dusty powder environment

• Physically active role

Shifts Available

1st Shift
Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift
Monday – Thursday (4 Ten-Hour Days)
3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
(Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Compensation

1st Shift

• Packager: $14.00/hour + $2.00/hour Perfect Attendance

• Processor: $15.00/hour + $2.00/hour Perfect Attendance

• Packaging Operator I: $15.00/hour + $2.00/hour Perfect Attendance

2nd Shift

Includes $1.00/hour shift differential PLUS $2.00/hour perfect attendance bonus.

• Packager:
  $14.00 base + $1.00 shift diff + $2.00 attendance = Up to $17.00/hour

• Processor:
  $15.00 base + $1.00 shift diff + $2.00 attendance = Up to $18.00/hour

• Packaging Operator I:
  $15.00 base + $1.00 shift diff + $2.00 attendance = Up to $18.00/hour

What You Need to Succeed

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout shift

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions

• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred

• Commitment to safety at all times

• Desire to learn machinery and grow with the company

• Forklift experience is a plus
