Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring experienced PIT Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Lithia Springs, GA. If you have experience operating powered industrial equipment and are looking for a great opportunity with potential for growth, we want to hear from you!
Available Shifts
- 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM-1:30 AM
- Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM-6:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate PIT equipment, including Cherry Pickers, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Pull, pick, move, stack, stage, and relocate products throughout the facility.
- Accurately locate and pick products using powered equipment and manual methods.
- Count, weigh, label, consolidate, and record products as required.
- Load and unload trailers according to company procedures.
- Complete required documentation, including Bills of Lading and pick reports.
- Inspect products for damage and verify quantities and product information.
- Perform daily PIT equipment inspections and immediately report any defects or safety concerns.
- Prepare trailers and work areas for loading and unloading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of PIT/forklift operating experience required.
- Cherry Picker and sit-down forklift experience required.
- Forklift/PIT certification preferred.
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and basic data entry.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
