Tour Guide / Scheduler
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Tour Guide / Scheduler to serve as a key point of contact for visitors for a manufacturing facility. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for employees, community members, students, school groups, business partners, and other guests.
Position Perks:
- Full-time
- $22 per hour
- Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for visitors and guests entering the facility
- Answer phones and respond to questions regarding tours, scheduling, directions, and visitor information.
- Schedule and coordinate plant tours
- Welcome and check in visitors
- Provide clear instructions and information to guests
- Occasionally serve as a plant tour guide
- Communicate professionally with all levels of management, employees, customers and the public
- Coordinate tour details and logistics with internal departments and facility leadership
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, administration, public relations, education, tourism or similar field preferred
- Professional, friendly, and approachable personality
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable speaking to groups and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds
