2nd Shift Paint Associate (1) $19/hr (18 base + 1 shift dif)
- M-Th 3p-1:30a No experience required
As a Painter at Lantech, you will:
- Apply powder utilizing powder coating equipment within the booth with end result being a quality paint finish.
- Be responsible for working in all cells on the paint line to include: the loading/unloading line, steam cleaning parts, applying rivets, and retrieving / delivery of parts carts.
- Duties may also involve wet spray-painting various components and sub-assemblies of Lantech equipment

- Is quality conscious and is able to assist team leaders to troubleshoot paint quality issues.
- Is able to drive a fork truck or willing/able to complete Lantech forklift certification.
- Is detail oriented with a strong commitment to quality, and safety and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Is able to self-identify problems and support problem-solving / solutions
- Has sustained record of good attendance.
- Is able to stand 9.5 hours each day
- Has a high aptitude for working with situations of a manufacturing nature, effective use of time, and is capable of adapting to a varied work environment.
- Practices safe work habits as an individual and with co-workers.
- Adheres to guidelines related to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Is a team-oriented individual with good interaction/communication skills.
- Is able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Is willing and able to work overtime to complete projects and/or meet scheduling deadlines.
- Is customer focused with a strong commitment to quality and production schedule.
- Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Education & Experience:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with all aspects of production powder coat painting is required.
- Previous experience troubleshooting problems with the electrostatic gun is a plus.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required (Additional training from vocational or trade school is a plus)
