Now Hiring – Production Team Lead – 2nd Shift
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Pay: $22.50 Hr.
Type: Temp-to-Hire
2nd Shift/hours : Monday-Thursday | 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
We’re hiring a reliable Production Team Lead for 2nd shift for a well-established company in Buffalo Grove, IL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential. Qualified candidates will be interviewed by the onsite supervisors prior to placement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with production functions
- Material Handling
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
- Evaluate the daily work order schedules with the production supervisor
- Work with production associates to assign work in the designated work cell for processing
- ensure all production paperwork and electronic transactions are completed timely
- Assist warehouse and accounting teams as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of general warehousing/production experience, preferably in a kitting or assembly environment, required
- Previous leadership experience in a production-assembly environment required
- Previous experience with work cell data collection and productivity metric tracking desired
- Solid, basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication) along with a good attention to detail
