Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring dependable and motivated Production Operators for an automotive manufacturing facility in Harrison Township, MI. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering weekly pay, overtime potential, and the chance to grow with a strong manufacturing team.
Starting Pay
- 1st Shift: $17.25/hour
- 2nd Shift: $18.25/hour
Shift Schedules
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Schedules listed are estimated end times. Employees may work up to 12-hour shifts depending on production demands.
What You’ll Do
- Attend daily shift start-up meetings
- Assemble and process components to quality standards
- Follow written work instructions and procedures (ODS)
- Inspect parts and identify quality concerns
- Communicate production or quality issues to leadership
- Move materials and components throughout the production area
- Use screws, rivets, clips, welders, adhesives, and assembly tools
- Operate manual, hydraulic, and electric tools
- Load and unload assembly equipment
- Apply labels, gaskets, and trim materials accurately
- Package products professionally for shipment
- Maintain safety and 5S standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Must be open to working in different production areas
- Must be flexible with overtime and changing schedules
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing and walking
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently
- Repetitive bending, twisting, and hand movements
- Standing for 2-4 hours before breaks
- Frequent hand use for assembly and inspection tasks
- Ability to communicate and work safely in a production environment
