Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Columbus, IN
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (overtime as needed)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to supervise daily warehouse operations and lead a team of associates. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and hands-on warehouse experience.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse activities to ensure safe and efficient operations

Conduct regular team meetings to assign tasks to warehouse associates and forklift drivers

Ensure all work orders are accurate, complete, and properly supported

Monitor team performance and recommend improvements

Enforce compliance with operational procedures and safety standards

Lead efforts to maintain and improve warehouse facilities

Assist with maintenance and optimization of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Identify training needs and ensure staff meet company training requirements

Support production during high-demand periods, shortages, or staffing gaps

Address and resolve employee conflicts professionally
Qualifications
-
Proven experience in warehouse operations and team leadership

Ability to train and certify forklift operators
-
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
-
Experience working with warehouse systems (WMS preferred)

Ability to work overtime as needed
