Malone is hiring for Quality Inspectors on all shifts at one of the leading manufacturers in the Georgetown area! This position focuses on monitoring and improving product and process quality in a manufacturing environment. The role involves inspecting materials at all stages (incoming, in-process, and outgoing), auditing production lines, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures. You’ll also help identify and communicate quality issues, lead containment and corrective actions, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Shift Details: 1st shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 2nd shift is 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM. Pay is $18.50 – $24 per hour depending on experience.
Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
- Monitor part and process quality and support the implementation and sustenance of the corrective and preventative actions and countermeasures.
- Work closely cross-functionally to ensure consistent high quality.
- Audit manufacturing lines against approved manufacturing processes, procedures, and requirements.
- Verify and audit incoming, in-process, and outgoing material to CelLink and Customer Quality and Engineering requirements and specifications.
- Promptly communicate emerging and trending quality issues.
- Lead and co-ordinate containment, sorting, and MRB activities as needed.
- Support and participate in Quality System Development activities.
- Train operators/inspectors regarding quality, inspection, and rework.
- Support drafting, reviewing various documents, such as Work Instructions, Quality Alerts, etc.
Quality Inspector Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have 1 or more years of experience in a Quality Inspection Role
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and a background check
- Mechanical inspection experience using basic and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc).
- Familiar with common workplace software (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work OT and Weekends if necessary
