Custodian – 2nd Shift
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Shift: Monday-Friday | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Pay: $18.00/Hr.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in their space, and is open to learning new responsibilities as the role evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing
- Operate an industrial walk-behind floor scrubber
- Clean and restock restrooms (sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors, soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
- Clean breakrooms and common areas; sanitize countertops, appliances, and surfaces
- Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility
- Clean exterior surfaces of production machines and equipment
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 6 months of janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
