Malone Solutions is currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor for one of our manufacturing clients in the Edinburgh area.
JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Location: Edinburgh, Indiana
Pay: $50-$52k a year
Hours: 2nd Shift 4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday
Language: Bi-lingual preferred but not required

General Summary:
Performs detailed and complex job duties (i.e. normal course of business activities). Investigates and recommends ways to improve efficiencies, quality, and safety of daily job activities.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Promote, monitor, and ensure all safety policies, practices, and procedures are followed
- Monitor machine and operating safety by performing safety inspections and follow-up to ensure all TPMs are performed
- Ensure quality system is being maintained and followed
- Ensure training of Operators
- Ensure production schedules are achieved by guiding, directing, and training the workforce.
- Coordinate various daily activities and special projects
- Monitor line and plant conditions and direct 2S activities to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Promote standardized work processes and ensure compliance
- Evaluate the duties of Operators and promote continuous improvement
- Lead Kaizen activities
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all production reports
- Ensure downtime and scrap is reported accurately
- Promote strong communication
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed to ensure achievement of department and company plan
- Enforce 5s
