Overview
Malone Workforce Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a warehouse facility in Mt. Pleasant, SC. In this hands-on role, you will operate industrial trucks as well as manually move, stack, load, and unload materials. If you're safety-conscious and have solid experience handling heavy materials, this is the job for you.
Forklift Operator Highlights:
- Location: Mt Pleasant, SC
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts; Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
- Pay: $17-18
- Environment: Warehouse/industrial setting
Forklift Operator Duties:
- Operate forklift to transport materials
- Load and unload goods both manually and using forklift
- Manually position materials and secure them for transport
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and refueling
- Follow safety protocols and signal workers for safe discharge/loading
- Inspect equipment regularly and report maintenance needs
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years previous experience operating a forklift.
- Valid driver’s license a plus
- Ability to lift 70+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Comfortable using levers, controls, and safety equipment
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Must be able to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
