HMC Set-Up Machinist
Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Pay Rate: $23.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.

About the Role
We are seeking skilled HMC Set-Up Machinists to join our team. In this role, you will fabricate parts to conform to blueprints and drawings, ensuring top-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

Prioritize workload according to production schedules and due dates
Retrieve job documentation and verify updated Quality Assurance Information Plans (QAIP)
Analyze control charts and perform stability studies on machines and gauges
Select and set up tools for each job
Load and unload parts, operate HMC machines, and perform first-piece inspections
Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot as needed
Measure and verify parts against blueprints/drawings using micrometers, calipers, etc.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and use proper PPE
Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions in English
Familiarity with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Basic computer and math skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality and productivity standards
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced setting

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs without assistance
Standing for extended periods
Repetitive lifting and bending to load/unload machines
