Are you a hands-on technician with mechanical aptitude and a passion for troubleshooting? Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring a Repair Division Mechanic for a full-time position in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on repairing and rebuilding hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, motors, transmissions, and cylinders of varying sizes and complexity.

Repair Division Mechanic Highlights:

Pay: $ 23- $28 per hour, Based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday with mandatory overtime and on-call availability
Location: Louisville, KY

Repair Division Mechanic Job Responsibilities:

Tear down, measure, evaluate, reassemble, and test hydraulic and pneumatic equipment such as cylinders, valves, pumps, motors, transmissions, and power units
Determine causes of failure and document recommended changes
Specify required parts and estimated repair time; document all findings
Interpret fabrication drawings and perform metric-to-standard conversions as needed
Maintain shop schedule and prioritize repair workload
Clean and maintain shop equipment and individual work area
Support delivery deadlines by staying focused and organized

Repair Division Mechanic Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; related experience or training strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude required
Must be proficient with hand tools, measurement devices, and specialized repair equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages and interpret measurements
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete reports and logs
Current driver’s license required; must be able to become forklift certified
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Flexibility to work overtime and respond to urgent customer needs with short notice

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and use hands to handle equipment
Frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally more than 100 lbs (with assistance)
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
