    Malone is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative in Oceanside, CA!

    Customer Service Representative Summary:
    The Customer Experience Team significantly supports business efforts in developing and growing customer relationships. This includes handling incoming phone calls, quote requests, level 1 technical services, return goods authorization (RGAs), order entry and other activities as required.

    Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

    • Phone & Email Coverage: handle incoming emails and phone calls from customers, end-users, architects/designers regarding product information, order status, pricing questions, RGA’s, technical support, and other inquiries, with a service level of 4-hours or less.
    • Customer Relationship Management: each team member acts as an account manager for some of our largest and key customers, while taking a team approach to supporting the balance of our smaller customers. Some responsibilities for these key accounts could include order status reporting, job quoting and quote follow-up, training customers on best approaches to ordering and part numbers, level 1 technical support, etc

    Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

    • Communication: as the “face-of-the-franchise” for the business, the Customer Experience Team is the conduit for communication between the business and our customers (both direct customers and indirect, i.e. architects, specification writers, end-users, installers, etc. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are critically important.
    • Organization: this role has a lot of responsibilities and often times needs to juggle multiple tasks. Remaining organized aids in the team’s ability to follow-thru on open actions and requests.
    • Follow-Up: juggling phone calls, emails and office communications throughout the day it is inevitable that some tasks get started and must be completed later. Follow-up and follow-thru is important to ensure customers obtain proper communication and open actions are completed.
    • Detail Oriented: offers a vast portfolio of over 18,000 product configurations and solutions for a wide range of applications. Our product nomenclature includes letters, numbers, “-“, “.” all of which are important to getting the order correct.
    • Additional activities could include order entry, RGA processing/tracking, submitting freight claims, supporting new product launches or custom jobs
    • Other duties as determined by management

    Shift: 7am-3:30pm

    Pay Rate: $22/hr
