Overview
Malone Workforce Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate for a facility in North Charleston, SC. We are looking for an experienced candidate who is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment and willing to assist in shipping operations. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and packing orders, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and other various warehouse duties
Warehouse Associate Highlights
Location: North Charleston, SC
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30
Pay: $18-19 Depending on experience
Environment: Warehouse
Duties and Responsibilities
– Picking and packing customer orders
– Loading and unloading delivery vehicle
– Wrapping, boxing, and labelling
– Weighing or counting items for shipment to customers
– Reading production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
– Must follow all procedures and process to fulfill the orders
– Ship confirming orders on computer system
– Maintaining inventory records and assisting in keeping inventory accurate
– Willing to work other duties as assigned by supervisor
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment
– Must be able to bend, twist, lift etc. 50-60 lbs.
– Willing to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
– Customer service oriented
Requirements and Qualifications
– Must have 2 years of warehouse experience
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Valid driver's license
– Must be able to bend and lift heavy boxes and kegs repetitively (45-50lbs)
– Excellent mathematical and fraction skills
– Basic computer skills
– Good communication skills
– Well organized
