Machine Operator – AM & PM Shifts
Location: Itasca, IL
Pay: $18/hour (AM Shift) | $19/hour (PM Shift)
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts
- AM Shift: 6:55 AM – 7:00 PM
- PM Shift: 6:55 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Overview:
We are hiring Machine Operators to join our team in Itasca, IL. This role involves operating various production equipment such as palletizers, wrapping machines, strappers, box machines, and molding equipment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality control checks and input data accurately.
- Adjust machines to ensure consistent output that meets quality standards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas according to GMP guidelines.
- Report safety hazards or quality issues immediately.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper startup and shutdown methods.
- Communicate production changes to other team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Strong math skills and ability to use measurement tools.
- Ability to recognize quality defects and make decisions quickly.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, lift, push, pull, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Frequent climbing of stairs and ladders up to 15 feet.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and overtime when required.
