Malone is hiring for a finishing operator at one of the leading metal manufacturers in the area! This position is entry level, dealing with sanding/grinding in a metal shop environment.
Finishing Operator Responsibilities:
- Supports Quality control; cross references finish requirements stated on traveler to requirements stated on blue print, verifying correct procedure to be performed. Secures Quality Control approval of work performed before product is released to next scheduled process.
- Completes work proficiently and within acceptable time parameters, to support the goal of on time completion of assemblies.
- Knowledge of automated, pneumatic and hand tools as pertains to finishing.
- Sanding/Grinding of sheet metal to specification.
Finishing Operator Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time including lifting, bending, and squatting.
- Ability to repeat similar tasks for extended periods of time
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Positive attitude & team spirit
- Strong attention to detail & reliable attendance
Shift: 1st shift 7:30AM to 4:00PM M-F, Pay is $18 per hour.
