Malone Solutions is hiring Cocktail Specialists at one of Kentucky's leading bourbon distilleries in the Louisville downtown area. If you have passion for the bourbon industry and experience in bartending, then apply here!
COCKTAIL SPECIALIST DETAILS:
- Pay: $17.36/hr plus tips
- Must be available on weekends and evenings as needed
- Expect about 15 – 35 hours/week
- A typical Friday or Saturday shift is 11am-6pm of 2pm-9pm
- A typical event shift is 5pm-10pm, the latest event shifts go is 11pm typically
COCKTAIL SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provide premium guest experiences and connect with visitors through hospitality, education, and cocktail selection.
- Maintain knowledge of all available inventory selections as well as designated glassware and garnishes for drinks, preparation method, ingredients, garnishes, presentation, and pricing.
- Must be able to produce from memory no less than 50 Classic or Modern Classic cocktails and be able to learn the 100 essential cocktails determined by Bar Manager.
- Assist leadership with education regarding the Finishing Room and all products, procedures, and practices involved in the bar and cocktail program.
- Ensure proper cleaning, operational, and organizational standards of facilities and equipment as set forth by Bar Manual and Bar Manager.
- Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations
- Be knowledgeable in preparation of alternative zero proof beverages that mirror the quality of our cocktails
- Open to obtaining Louisville Metro Health Department’s Food Managers license
- Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness within all areas of the Brand Home.
- Follow operating procedures, work schedules, rules and regulations as outlined in Bar Manual and Employee Guidebook, or by Bar Manager.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain positive guest relations in line with great hospitality practices, be able to resolve guest complaints, and promptly communicate issues to Management.
- Be familiar with the local area to accurately respond to guest inquiries.
- Obtain and maintain broad knowledge of the brand through training sessions, tours, and other educational opportunities.
- Be willing and able to teach Cocktail Classes.
COCKTAIL SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of bartending experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
