Malone Solutions is hiring a Drafter for a national manufacturer of premium architectural sunshades and grilles used in commercial construction. We’re looking for a skilled AutoCAD Drafter ready to join a collaborative, high-performing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-end commercial projects while enjoying a consistent Monday-Thursday schedule.
Location: Frankfort, IL
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (45-minute lunch)
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $32.00/Hr. DOE
Responsibilities:

Create and/or check shop drawings to ensure accuracy and clarity

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings based on sketches, specifications, and engineering input

Identify dimensions, angles, curvatures, tolerances, and materials

Make modifications to existing drawings as needed

Collaborate with the Engineering/Product Development Manager

Assist with preparing and programming CNC equipment
Requirements:
-
AAS degree in Drafting or related field preferred

OR 1-2 years of drafting experience with a high school diploma

Proficient in AutoCAD (2012)

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and time management skills
