Malone is seeking an experiecned Customer Service Representative in Vista, CA. This is a temp to hire position for a wonderful company!
Pay Range: $28 to $30
Position Overview for a Customer Service Representative
As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will support B2B customers and distributors by managing orders, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless post-sale experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Representative:
- Enter and confirm customer orders with accuracy and in a timely manner
- Maintain orders, including changes to quantities, delivery dates, and ship-to addresses
- Respond to customer inquiries related to shipment tracking, order status, and lead times
- Process and coordinate order expedites as needed
- Handle compliance documentation requests (e.g., certificates, declarations)
Customer Support & Relationship Management:
- Answer customer calls and emails professionally and promptly
- Provide dedicated account management for affiliates and authorized distributors
- Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) requests for quality issues or stock rotations
- Distribute 8D quality reports to customers when applicable
- Process credit and price adjustment requests in coordination with Finance and Sales teams
- Perform final review and release of customer orders, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Triage technical inquiries and escalate to Technical Support as appropriate
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a B2B customer service or order management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (D365 or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Familiarity with RMAs, credit processing, and compliance documentation is a plus
